Arrived at Auckland airport at 20.30 last night. New Zealand was freezing with frost and black ice on the morning of the third.Tough roads, strong winds but warm hearts. KEYWIN owner John and his wife Maria treated me like a member of their family and couldn’t do enough for me. John is like a teenager, full of life and boundless enthusiasm and energy. Many thanks John, Maria and family, never will be forgotten. At the airport this morning, I had a big suprise when Paradorn was true to his word and woke early on the day of his final exam to meet me with his girlfriend. He is a young Thai man at university in Auckland. Thanks for the warm smiles and lovely gift Paradorn. So, I am in Transit now to San Francisco.
Many thanks for the kind messages of support,
alan

Congratulations to you and your team Alan on completing that part of your journey. If I remember correctly that was the only winter riding you will have to do. I hope you will be able to get some rest before you start again in USA. My very best wishes are with you all the way.
